7. Dance

This is an extremely specific major and, similar to the aforementioned music program, dance requires determination and dedication. Students who have a strong foundation in dance, but are not interested in pursuing a professional-level position within a company might be interested in studying dance science at schools such as Elon University. Marymount Manhattan College’s Body, Science & Motion program prepares students for careers in dance medicine by offering coursework in nutrition, anatomy, human physiology, movement, and biology.
