As a former professor at respected educational institutions such as MIT and Yale University, Ainissa Ramirez remains at the forefront of inspiring young female and minority students to pursue engineering. The Stanford University Ph.D. holder now devotes her time to improving the STEM education resources for future generations through books including “Save Our Science: How to Inspire a New Generation of Scientists,” giving TED Talks, and TED-Ed videos, such as “Magical Metals, How Shape Memory Alloys Work, and Yale University’s “Science Xplained: Ice Cream Chemistry.”
