Back? Great. The bank issues a monthly statement of your account that shows the amounts and dates for every deposit and withdrawal you’ve made. You must check this statement against your checkbook registry or online account to make sure you haven’t forgotten to record a transaction or made a math mistake in computing your balance. Adulting is knowing where that money goes and how much of it you have left. Bouncing a check or running out of money when you have bills due is not fun, but it is easily avoidable if you’ve mastered this skill.
