3. Video Game Tester
Who wouldn’t want this job?! But video game testers can’t just play games all day. They must evaluate the game for any defects or problems, and report their findings to the company. Once corrections have been made, testers again check to make sure that the issue has been resolved. Input from video game testers help the research and development teams to create new features for future game editions.
A college degree is not required for this position, but applicants do need great analytical and communication skills.
How to Prepare:
High school students should have good technological skills and be familiar with many games and video game systems. A background in common programming languages can be helpful.
