Last night, the president’s State of the Union Address was heard across the nation, and we here at STEM Jobs were listening.
We know what he’s talking about when he addresses the issues that deal with science, technology, engineering and math jobs in America. Here at STEM Jobs, we’re dedicated to closing the gap between classrooms and careers, helping students realize their potential, and helping them obtain education and careers in the STEM fields so that they can change the world.
“21st century businesses will rely on American science, technology, research and development. I want the country that eliminated polio and mapped the human genome to lead a new era of medicine — one that delivers the right treatment at the right time. In some patients with cystic fibrosis, this approach has reversed a disease once thought unstoppable. Tonight, I’m launching a new Precision Medicine Initiative to bring us closer to curing diseases like cancer and diabetes — and to give all of us access to the personalized information we need to keep ourselves and our families healthier.”
Our mission is to engage and inspire students and those who provide their education and help them choose careers: parents, teachers, guidance counselors and educators. We want to encourage young people everywhere to do what they love, and that will lead to successful careers in the STEM field.
